Hudson Taylor

Tuesday 3rd of February ,

Hudson Taylor are A Irish folk-pop band. They formed in 2011 and are currently signed to polydor records. Hudson Taylor is duo made up of brothers Alfie and Harry Hudson-Taylor. Harry and Alfie grew up in Dublin with Their Mother and Farther their farther was also a musician and their mother was a dancer. They released their first EP Battles in 2012 were it reached no.1 in Ireland and no.14 in the UK. Hudson taylors Debut album was released in January 2015 in Ireland and will shortly be released in the UK following their tour 'singing for strangers'.

Hudson Taylors first support act of the night was jack Morris who grew up along side Hudson Taylor in Dublin he is of a similar genre and meeting him after the gig it became evident he was also a very nice man ! 






the second support act was 'Southern' a sister brother due from Belfast they play a mixture of blues, alternative rock, pop and hip hop











And finally out from behind a black curtain like a messiah appeared Hudson Taylor




























After the gig we manged to meet up with Jack Morris and Hudson Taylor and were the most lovely people  !!

Quilliam Brothers - Tea shop


Saturday 31st of january 2015,

...It was a typically winter day in the city center and in the distance like a shinning star stood a beacon, a beacon that read '' Quilliam Brothers'' ...

located in Newcastle city centre 'Quilliam Brothers' is a unique tea house with a warm welcoming and friendly atmosphere. Not only does this tea house offer a variety of 60 lose leaf teas ,each boasting a individual quirky name. The tea-house also offers coffee / hot chocolate and numerous other beverages ,not only that it offers food ,cinema ,art gallery and a very visually pleasing vintage twist décor.

the Quilliam Brothers were kind enough to let us take pictures of there masterpiece ....

 






Quilliam Brothers also others a wide range of entertainment from their in house cinema to writing groups ...






and their vast collection of art work...




and a beautiful selection off food, scones ,cakes and much MUCH MORE!! ...




So the moral of the story is ... when ever your in town get down to Quilliam Brothers Tea-Hose and enjoy a fresh cup of Tea, a slice of cake and soak up the Creativity.
